Taking the Plunge

Ok, so someone mentioned the old show, "Doogie Howser, M.D." the other day and I got to thinking how cool it would be to watch my thoughts spill out on a computer screen.  Then I started thinking about how much I love watching the end of a Sex and the City episode when Carrie Bradshaw is slowly burning her ciggie and typing out some drama that happened.  I've always wanted to keep some sort of diary or somewhere that I could vent my thoughts (not always necessarily bad/negative) and so today, I decided to take the plunge and start one.

Since our one year wedding anniversary is but weeks away and I didn't document the first year of marriage, I figure it's never too late to start.  We're about to start trying to build our Scarborough Army and so I would like this wonderful time to be documented, so here goes!
I hope to keep this updated on our current activities and what's going on in our lives and even if no one follows this little blog of ours, it's nice knowing that I can have this saved and share it later on with much shorter Scarboroughs as they come along!

We'll see how this goes and I look forwarding to documenting and sharing the best days of our lives!!

  1. Good for you girl! I have attempted to start a blog a few times, but it has always seemed to fade away. It's one of those things on my running to-do list. I hope you keep up with it. Not only is writing a release of your energy, happiness, anger, humor and more, it's a window into a deeper soul that you may not have otherwise looked into. And it's just as much fun to look back months or years from now and be able to recall the times that made you - and your husband and your growing family - who you have become. I am excited to be able to read this and watch you continue to evolve into the beautiful and amazing woman that you are. I love you very much.

PS: The song, "This Little Light of Mine", is now stuck in my head. Thank you.
